About Italian project

Project "Lavender dream"

Country: Italy

Net living space: 138 m2

Number of rooms: 4

The interior of this apartment was designed as a resort residence for a family of four.

The apartment is located in an amazingly beautiful old villa built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.

The building was built in an eclectic style with the Middle Ages elemens.

Despite the stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, opening from the balcony and the windows, the initial condition of the apartment left much to be desired, because there has been no renovation since 1970.

Communications, air conditioning and heating, flooring throughout the apartment were completely redone.

It was agreed that in the apartment which offers such a stunning sparkling azure sea view, everything should be done in bright colors.

One of the wishes of the housemother was a mandatory presence of her favourite purple color in the interior.

A slight hint of Provencal style was also very welcomed by the hostess and her daughters. Nevertheless, it had to be properly combined with the elegance and even some luxury of the interior.

For these reasons, for the living room I chose white wooden furniture with  patina, and its textile part – in lavender color.

This color is also present in volumetric curtain brushes, as well as in pillows and rugs.

A small Finnish sauna and a jacuzzi were installed in the large bathroom, as clients love sauna and spa treatments.

Murano glass chandeliers and hand-painted wooden chest of drawers have become elegant accessories in all bedrooms.

When a beautiful woman and young girls live in the house, the question of sufficient clothes storing space is especially relevant.

The built-in wardrobes with a height of up to the ceiling coped with this task perfectly, and their mirrored sliding doors helped to save space and to increase it visually.

All family members were very pleased with their new home and their individual personal spaces in it.
